J.L. "Buck" Martinez  J.L. “Buck” Martinez is Senior Director of Project Development for FPL Group, where he oversees the development of renewable energy projects in the state of Florida. Prior to this, he served as Director of Human Resources, overseeing the corporate safety department, labor relations and the corporate quality program. Before that he served the company in various management positions and special projects. Martinez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Thomas University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Nova Southeast. In addition, he is a graduate of the Boston University Leadership Program
